Maradona has represented Argetina in 4 Soccer World Cup championship which includes 1982, 1986, 1990 and 1994 and has led Argentina to victory in the 86th edition in Mexico, almost single handedly. He also took Argentina to the final match of World Cup 90 held in Italy, but had to settle for a runner up trophy.

Maradona has also played for various clubs in America and Europe, where he has showcased some of his real talents. In the world cups also, he had gifted us many memorable performances and one cannot forget the famous ‘Hand of Goal’ against England in Mexico 86. He also produced one of the ebst goals in the soccer history in the same match.

But off the field he was not free from controversies and as a result he had to miss many of his international matches. He was also banned from World Cup 94 held in USA, for taking drugs. An his exit as a player from the International soccer has left a huge void which is yet to be filled. But this time in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa he has returned as the Coach of Argentina National Football team and continues to provide some spark for fans all over the world.
